Traditionally, the Vassa or Rains Residence Retreat period is the best time for both monastic and lay practitioners to intensify their learning and practise of the Dhamma. This is because of the availability of teachers in monasteries as they are required to remain in residence for the entire retreat period. Hence, the Sangha and Management Committee of Palelai has decided to organise the following programme for the benefit of those who wish to intensify their Dhamma practice.
