On New Year’s Day, the faithful laity are invited to offer alms to the Maha Sangha. The alms-round (pindapata) will be held at 8.30 am within the temple premises.

Please bring your offerings of requisites or dry food to the temple and be ready for the alms-round by 8.15 am. Mats for sitting and preparing the offerings will be laid out around the perimeter of the temple, which will also be the route for the alms-round.
